Eileen Porzuczek is an award-winning poet, creative writer, and artist. She is the author of Memento Mori: A Poetic Memoir in Three Parts (Finishing Line Press, 2025). Her poems are also cataloged in anthologies like Ikusei: A Carefully Curated Anthology of Haikus by Various Authors (Quillkeepers Press, 2025). Additionally, Eileen’s writing can be found in literary magazines like Creation Magazine, So It Goes: The Journal of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library, New Plains Review, Sheepshead Review, and more.

Eileen has worked with Ball State University and the Indiana Writers Center to bring community memoirs to life through creative writing. Some of the memoir anthologies she’s worked on include #KeepMuncieWeird…AndWhimsical!, Grit, Grace, and Gratitude: Senior Citizen Sage Stories, and multiple editions of I Remember: Indianapolis Youth Write About Their Lives. This work has allowed her to present at conferences nationally and globally.

Eileen has a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Emerging Media Design and Development from Ball State University. In everything she does, she always seeks meaningful experiences.

Eileen is grateful to share her writing with the world. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, playing cards, live music, and spending time with friends, family, her partner, and her rescue Goldendoodle.
