Eileen Porzuczek is a creative writer, artist, and award-winning poet. She is the author of Memento Mori: A Poetic Memoir in Three Parts (Finishing Line Press, 2025). Her writing appears in literary magazines including Creation Magazine, So It Goes: The Journal of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library, New Plains Review, and Sheepshead Review, among others.

She has partnered with Ball State University and the Indiana Writers Center to bring community memoirs to life, contributing to anthologies such as #KeepMuncieWeird…AndWhimsical!, Grit, Grace, and Gratitude: Senior Citizen Sage Stories, and multiple editions of I Remember: Indianapolis Youth Write About Their Lives. This work has taken her to conferences nationally and globally.

Eileen holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Emerging Media Design and Development from Ball State University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, playing cards, live music, and spending time with friends, family, and her rescue Goldendoodle.
